Muscle grows under tension. Discipline is built under load. We thought gear should be made the same way.

TENSILE started in a Phoenix garage gym in 2026, out of one frustration: activewear had become either a billboard or a compromise. Loud logos on thin fabric, or good fabric priced like a car payment. We wanted the third thing - pieces in colours you'd actually choose, cut to stay put, with a mark you have to look twice to notice.

We make every piece to order. Nothing sits in a warehouse, nothing gets discounted into the ground at the end of a season, and we don't ask you to pay for inventory we guessed wrong on.

Where things are made. We are based in Phoenix and we design everything here. The garments themselves are produced on demand at the facility best suited to each one — some in the United States, some in Europe, and our recycled nylon pieces from a supplier in Kenya. We would rather tell you that plainly than imply a factory we do not own. It is also why delivery takes longer than a warehouse would: each piece is made after you buy it.
